🤿 WHAT'S FULLY INCLUDED:

Becoming a certified diver is a smooth, rewarding journey divided into three easy-to-follow phases. We combine independent home study with hands-on ocean training to make your learning experience completely stress-free.
Your journey begins long before you step foot in Tenerife. Upon booking, we send you the PADI eLearning digital materials. Using your smartphone, tablet, or computer, you will watch interactive videos, read through short chapters, and complete quick quizzes from the comfort of your own couch.
THE BENEFIT: You finish 100% of the "classroom homework" at home, meaning you won't waste a single minute of your sunny holiday sitting inside a classroom reading textbooks!
On your first morning at our center, your instructor will fit you with your premium scuba gear and take you into a calm, shallow, protected water environment. This is where the real magic begins! You will take your very first breaths underwater and practice fundamental safety skills in a setting where you can easily stand up at any time.
THE FOCUS: Building muscle memory, mastering buoyancy (floating effortlessly), learning underwater hand signals, and gaining absolute confidence with your equipment.
This is what you came for! Over the two days, you will complete 4 unforgettable open water ocean dives at Tenerife's spectacular volcanic reefs. Under the direct supervision of your instructor, you will repeat the skills you have practiced till now but this time in deeper water surrounded by incredible marine life.
THE ADVENTURE: By your fourth dive, the skills will feel like second nature. You will be actively exploring the underwater world, gliding alongside local sea turtles, spotting colorful rays, and experiencing true aquatic freedom.
Once your fourth training dive is complete, you are officially a certified PADI Open Water Diver!
Check out our blog post detailing the exact skills, safety drills, and open-water habits you will learn on your Open Water Diver course in Tenerife.

Completing your PADI Open Water Diver course isn't the finish line—it's the gateway to a lifetime of ocean exploration. Once you have your global certification card in hand, a whole new world of adventure opens up to you.
Here are the most popular ways to expand your skills, dive deeper, and keep exploring with us right here in Tenerife:
Want to dive deeper and fine-tune your skills? You don't need to wait to start your Advanced course! There are no exams or long theory sessions here—this course is 100% practical and consists of 5 specialized adventure dives. You will learn to navigate underwater like a pro and unlock the ability to dive down to a maximum depth of 30 meters (100 feet) worldwide.
This is PADI's most popular specialty course. Learning to dive with "Enriched Air" (Nitrox) means you are breathing a gas blend with more oxygen and less nitrogen. This safely extends your "no-decompression time," meaning you can spend significantly longer on the bottom exploring reefs and wrecks—especially on deeper dives. It's a quick, theory-based course that can easily be combined with your normal diving schedule.
If you fell in love with the feeling of weightlessness during your Open Water course, this specialty is for you. You will spend 2 dedicated ocean dives mastering your breath control, streamlining your gear, and perfecting your trim. You will glide effortlessly through the water, save energy, and make your tank of air last much longer.
If you just want to put your new license to use without taking another course, join our daily guided boat and shore excursions! As a certified diver, you can join our team to explore Tenerife's top-rated dive sites—including deep volcanic drop-offs, underwater caves, and famous marine sanctuaries where massive groups of rays and turtles gather.
Don’t worry at all! Everyone learns at a different pace, and our instructors are trained to be incredibly patient. If you struggle to clear your mask or master your buoyancy, we will slow down, take a breath, and practice the skill in shallow water until you feel completely comfortable. We move at your pace—never rushing you.
No, your PADI certification lasts for a lifetime! It never expires, and your digital certification card will be stored safely in the PADI database forever. However, if you do not go diving for more than six months or a year, we highly recommend taking a quick 1-hour PADI ReActivate (Scuba Refresher) program with us to safely practice your skills before jumping back into the ocean.
No, you must wait before flying. According to standard PADI safety guidelines, you must allow a minimum of 18 hours after your last open water dive before boarding an airplane. Please keep this in mind when scheduling your course near the end of your Tenerife holiday!
Yes, absolutely! If you wear soft contact lenses, you can safely wear them while diving—just keep your eyes closed during mask-clearing skills.
The PADI eLearning is designed to be highly interactive, fun, and easy to digest. It uses short videos, graphics, and simple quizzes to test your knowledge. Most students complete the online modules in about 5 to 8 hours in total. You can easily spread this out over a few evenings at home before your holiday.
Before entering the water, everyone must fill out a standard PADI Medical Questionnaire. Most people pass easily, but certain conditions—such as asthma, epilepsy, lung conditions, or severe heart issues—will require a quick sign-off from a physician before you can dive.
Scuba diving is highly regulated and incredibly safe when you follow your training. Your equipment has built-in backups for everything, and you will always be with a buddy or instructor. As for the marine life: Atlantic animals are docile and curious. There are no dangerous sharks in Tenerife’s diving areas; you will mostly be swimming with gentle sea turtles, colorful rays, and schools of fish.
The PADI Scuba Diver course is a shorter, 1-day sub-course that only certifies you to dive to 12 meters under the direct supervision of a professional guide. The Open Water Diver course takes 2 days, goes down to 18 meters, and grants you total autonomy to dive independently with any certified buddy, anywhere in the world.
If you have family members who are non-divers, they can book a spot for a kayak or snorkeling tour that takes place in the same bay as scuba diving courses. Or they can just accompany you paying just 10 euros extra for the pick up if our transport is needed.
Having trouble «popping» or equalizing your ears is one of the most common challenges for beginner divers, but it is completely normal! On Day 1, your instructor will teach you several simple techniques (like gently blowing through a pinched nose) to equalize the pressure in your ears as you descend. We always descend very slowly along a reference line, allowing you to clear your ears centimeter by centimeter at your own pace. If your ears feel tight, we simply ascend a tiny bit, let them clear, and try again.
