Garden eel

A thin eel that lives in sandy burrows. It sticks out of the sand and moves like grass in the current. Garden eels are shy and disappear into their holes if you get too close. A whole colony looks very unusual and beautiful on the seabed. They are a favorite subject for divers who enjoy small and delicate marine life.
