Due to the favorable amount of wind it is one of the best places in Europe. The most famous spot is Sotavento Beach on the south east coast. Known for its huge lagoon which fills up with the full moon and the new moon when the tides are higher. A great place to take your first steps. Because the lagoon depth does not exceed 1m. However, also experienced people will also find something for themselves thanks to strong winds in the South of the island, it blows practically every day from April to September.
